FAQ - Commercial Liability Insurance

Any organization's operations and/or premises present a variety of liability possibilities.

Commercial General Liability coverage provides for organizations legal liability arising out of bodily injuries or damage suffered by members of the public, customers, tenants and others. Liability insurance, like all kinds of insurance, contains exclusions. Some of these exclusions can be removed while others cannot be removed. It is important when purchasing liability insurance that you consider the nature of your business and buy the correct amount and type of coverage. There is no formula for determining how much liability insurance is needed, but in our times of ever increasing pay outs in lawsuits, a commercial liability umbrella policy may need to be considered in addition to this coverage.
